Fans of Oasis have been left reeling in anticipation following hints of a reunion and many claim they would pay ‘anything’ to see a gig – but many of them doubt the brothers will make it through the tour without having another spat.
Noel Gallagher once claimed it would take ‘half a billion pounds’ for him to reunite Oasis, but apparently the demand for the band’s comeback is so financially lucrative that the 57-year-old is finally coming to the table.
The Britpop icons’ return is now closer than ever after Liam, 51, teased an official reunion during his set at Reading Festival last night.
Fans are already gearing up to raid their savings accounts to grab tickets, with some willing to pay a whopping £500 for a chance to see them play.
However, plenty told MailOnline that they doubt the truce will last, as ‘anything could happen’ – and some even think the tour will get cancelled after Noel and Liam have yet another fall out.

Keen fan Daniel Williams, from Staffordshire, told MailOnline: ‘I think they will reunite. I’d be excited if they did, I loved them when I was young.
‘Money would be no object. They should definitely play in Manchester, it’s where they’re from.’
But he cautioned: ‘I think they will fall out again, they’re like a cat and dog.’
Sarah, from Wigan, also added a sceptical tone, saying: ‘Social media seems to suggest they will get back together but I can’t quite see it – it might be a bit of a money-making scheme.
‘I do think it’s a scheme but I will try and get tickets and I’d spend about £100. I’ve seen them both separately a couple of times.’
Ann, also from Wigan, said: ‘I’m still not sure it’s just a joke. I probably wouldn’t go see them again.
‘I saw them in their heyday, I don’t need to do it again. I’d spend about £80 if I did. They’re a big part of my youth.

She said: ‘I think they will reunite and I think they should – it’ll be a good thing for Manchester and the fans.
‘I’m about 70 per cent excited for them reuniting – my partner is on the 100 per cent scale.
‘I think it would be good to see them. I think they should start in Manchester – you should play where you’re proud.
‘I think they’ll probably fall out about 10 minutes before the first concert.’

Beccy, also from Manchester, agreed and said she would pay up to £200 to watch one of the band’s comeback gigs, adding: ‘It’s got to happen – I’m very excited.
‘It’s just massive. I’d spend £200 but tickets will probably be more. They’ll play somewhere massive – it would be nice if it was somewhere small and intimate, though.
When asked whether she feared the Gallaghers could go to war with each other yet again, she suggested: ‘They’re brothers – they’ll get over it.’
