Coleen Rooney celebrated turning 40 over the Easter weekend and welcomed a star-studded guest list to her home – alongside cameras – as they partied into the early hours

Coleen Rooney is ready to show the world how she marked turning 40 with a lavish party. The former I’m A Celebrity star marked her special day with an extravagant bash, thrown by husband Wayne on the lawn of their sprawling property in Cheshire.
The couple and their four sons welcomed a string of celebs to their £20 million home after setting up a marquee in the garden. And it’s said Coleen allowed cameras to follow her clan during the shindig for a brand new Disney+ show.
Guests celebrating with Coleen on Friday included Wayne’s ex-Manchester United pals Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes, reality TV’s Leanne Brown, ex-footballer Phil Bardsley and his Real Housewives of Cheshire wife Tanya.

Coleen shared a sneak peek at the proceedings on social media, sharing a clip of her guests dancing as she captioned the upload “best night” and added two heart emojis.
And a source told The Sun: “Coleen’s party was captured in parts as part of her Disney series. Everyone had a fantastic time and some videos and pictures were shared on social media.
“But if fans really want to see the party, they’ll have to watch the Disney show when it comes out.”
The party was kitted out with balloons, and there was a huge marquee and gold ’40’ sign seen being erected prior to the get together. The theme inside the marquee featured pastel colours and continued with a sea of pink and white decorations.
This included hundreds of roses and a balloon arch reading out the number 40. The lighting was very complimentary as the guests mingled excitedly, all armed with gifts for their host.
It’s said the bash went on until the early hours of the morning, with guests ferried home in a fleet of blacked out vans at around 2am. Coleen had reportedly put hundreds of bottles of champagne on ice for the bank holiday weekend marking her milestone day.
And while most guests arrived in fancy cars – many with tinted windows – one guest had arrived at the soiree by helicopter.
Speaking to The Mirror, ahead of the Good Friday bash, which was attended by 50 of Coleen’s closest pals, a friend of the mum-of-four said she loves to party and will be up dancing during the celebrations. “Coleen parties like a good northern lass,” they said. ‘She’s a very normal girl at the end of the day – she just likes a good time and having fun. It will be epic.”
Meanwhile, Coleen said before the event: “I’m looking forward to it, I love a birthday and a celebration. I have decided to enjoy a couple of different celebrations with family and friends over the year, and with my birthday falling over Easter weekend, some friends are away — so any opportunity to extend the celebrations…”
