Gordon Ramsay hints at ‘retirement’ fears in explosive Netflix teaser

Netflix has confirmed the release date for Being Gordon Ramsay, a new docuseries following the celebrity chef’s life and ambitious £20m restaurant project

Netflix has announced the premiere date for one of its most eagerly awaited food programmes of the year, accompanied by an exciting new trailer.

Being Gordon Ramsay is an upcoming documentary series following the renowned chef as he tackles one of the most demanding ventures of his professional life.

With intimate interviews featuring the TV personality, his wife Tana, and their six children, the programme chronicles the exhausting six-month period before launching five new dining experiences at 22 Bishopsgate in London.

Investing £20 million of his personal fortune, Gordon encounters construction obstacles and significant setbacks throughout the endeavour.

The programme will also explore his private life and modest beginnings that shaped his journey to becoming one of the culinary world’s most recognisable figures internationally. The series launches on the streaming platform on Wednesday, 18th February, meaning viewers don’t have long to wait, reports the Express.

In the newly released trailer, unveiled by Netflix on Wednesday, 21st January, Gordon is seen leaping from his vehicle mid-conversation with Tana to collect coffee.

“He drives me mental,” Tana remarks with a weary chuckle.

The culinary legend also confesses to fellow TV chef Paul Ainsworth that he “might retire” following the Bishopsgate venture.

Yet Paul remains sceptical, responding “Absolute bulls***!” before the duo share a high-five.
