‘I get paid £150k a year to be virtual girlfriend and men don’t even want to see me’

Lillith lodge, 29, works as a virtual girlfriend and she gets paid around £150,000 a year to date men, even though they don’t want to see her. She rakes in thousands by staying home

People have all different sorts of relationships in the world today, but one woman is being paid thousands to be a virtual girlfriend. Lillith Lodge has all the answers about why men who have the option to see her face-to-face are choosing to keep their relationship online.

She’s earning thousands by simply being someone they date online, and she never even has to see some of them in person to top up her bank balance. Lillith, who boasts over 40,000 followers on Instagram alone, admitted when men do book to see her, they often cancel at the last minute but still pay their desposits.

The 29-year-old, from Brisbane, Australia, explained exactly what it’s like to do her job. It’s not the only unusual dating story of its kind to do the rounds either, as someone previously admitted to going on a date with ChatGPT.

When asked why she thinks men like the idea of having a “virtual” girlfriend, Lillith said: “I think they enjoy the connection, and how accessible it is to them. Being able to talk to me within the comfort of their own home, without me even seeing what they look like in some cases, really makes them more comfortable.

“Especially for anxious types, where the idea of seeing me in person may just be a little too much. At the end of the day, men crave connection just like we do.”

She thinks, for some men, the idea of seeing her in person can be really “scary”, as there can be a lot of pressure when it comes to seeing an escort. Some men may even find it nerve-racking to “perform”, according to Lillith.

“These are things that run through their heads when they are making that first step to book someone,” she added. “I also think, for a lot of them, they are worried about it ruining the fantasy.

“If they are very active on my page, chatting a lot and spending a lot, I think they genuinely convince themselves that the relationship is that of a girlfriend. When they book me in person and have to hand over cash, and leave when the time is up, I think that sort of ruins the fantasy in their mind.”

Lillith has been selling saucy snaps for around four years – and she actually started way back when she was a dancer at a strip club. One of her regular customers convinced her it was a great idea, and suggested she’d make a lot of money doing it.

However, she admits she had to learn the hard way that it takes a lot of work to be successful. These days, she’s raking in the cash though.

She said: “Currently I make around about $300,000 AUD (£156,543) a year on OnlyFans. However, my first few years were much lower.

“I love my job. I’m honestly so grateful to be in the position I am now. It’s a privilege. I never have to do anything I don’t want to do.

“If someone is rude, I don’t have to see them. If a fan wants an extreme custom, I don’t have to do it. And, with the ability to enforce those boundaries, it makes my job enjoyable because I simply do what I enjoy.

“But it wasn’t always like this, especially early on in my career when money was much tighter.” Lillith’s clients do have the option to meet her, but many prefer not to.

According to Lillith, her fans tend to be older, and on the more anxious side. She claims they prefer to keep their relationship virtual, despite having the option to see her face-to-face, and they are satisfied with never having to meet her.

She added: “It’s a fantasy. A relationship I have with a subscriber [online] might feel like I’m their kinky, up-for-anything girlfriend.

“Whereas, in person, as much as we do get to explore the same things, it can feel more real. There are boundaries. We are often restricted for time, with most people booking only one to two hours.

“At the end of the day, I love that I can do both. I can play a role online, and in real life, I’m still someone’s dream girl, where they get to explore their physical fantasies. It’s really the best of both worlds.”
