
As per reports, the Asia Cup 2025 trophy has been relocated to a different venue under the custody of PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi
In a fresh twist to the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 saga, the trophy has reoprtedly been relocated to a different location in Abu Dhabi under the custody of Pakistan Cricket Board and ACC chairman Mohsin Naqvi. Suryakumar Yadav and co. are yet to lay their hands on the silverware after refusing to accept the trophy from the PCB official after beating Pakistan in the final. This development comes after Naqvi maintained that a participating Indian player come and collect the trophy from him amid geopolitical tension between the two countirs.
New twist in Asia Cup saga
As per news agency ANI, the Asia Cup 2025 trophy has been relocated to a new venue from the ACC’s headquarters to the custody of Mohsin Naqvi in Abu Dhabi. As per the report, a BCCI official who had visited the ACC office earlier this month had enquired about the trophy and had been informed that it had been shifted to another loaction in custody of the PCB chairman.
“A BCCI official visited ACC headquarters a few days back. When he inquired about the trophy in the ACC office, the staff told him that it has been removed from here and is in the custody of Moshin Naqvi in some place in Abu Dhabi,” the sources said.
