Faux Hair Micro String Thong

Kim Kardashian has upped the game of provocative fashion; she is the empress of by joining the merkin market. Maybe the most bizarre SKIMS drop in October 2025 is the Faux Hair Micro String Thong SKIMS sold it in an ad presented in the form of a 1970s game show, with the tagline “The Ultimate Bush.” The minimalist thong comes in twelve different color options for faux hair (curly and straight) attached to a sheer base.

Priced at $32, the thong is billed as SKIMS’ “most daring panty yet,” encapsulating the brand’s penchant for shocking the shapewear world. The brand dropped the product launch on Instagram with the caption promising, “your carpet can be whatever color you want it to be.”

SKIMS has never shied away from eye-catching drops, as the merkin is not one of their first weird products to gain attention.

Alien-themed swimwear

While not officially described by SKIMS as “alien-themed,” SKIMS’s swimwear line sometimes descends into dramatic and otherworldly prints, metallic materials, surprising cutouts, and space-age silhouettes borrowed from science fiction style.
