Ferrero Group is widely recognized for its famous chocolate brand, Kinder. The company has now announced the launch of a new e-book platform named “Let’s Story”, the website Mumbrella reported. They believe the platform will not only support the healthy growth process of a child but will also help foster strong family bonding as well.

Kinder said they took inspiration from the recent research study conducted by Ipsos that revealed that an overwhelming 97 percent of the parents believe reading to be important in a child’s overall development process. Further, 49 percent of the parents believe reading leads to enhanced family bonding. Worth mentioning, Ipsos was commissioned by Kinder to conduct the research.

What makes Let’s Story unique is that here families will be able to create their own stories. This is going to be on top of the classic stories and fairy tales that are an all-time favorite of the kids. The kids too will be able to craft their own stories, something that will give vent to their imaginative abilities. Let’s Story is going to be accessible via the child-friendly app, Applaydu.

“We understand the crucial role imagination and creativity play in fostering childhood development and learning,” said Kinder’s Andrea Almeida.

“That’s why, in partnership with leading experts from technology, education and gaming, we’re excited to introduce our new LET’S STORY! e-book platform. This launch represents a significant milestone in our commitment to promoting joyful growth through engaging and interactive experiences.”

Kindle further stated they developed the app in collaboration with leading experts in education, gaming, and technology segments. For instance, Microsoft helped create the platform where parents have the ability to create their own stories in up to 15 languages. They also have the option to use different voice tones as well.

There has also been those from the University of Oxford’s Department of Education who helped in creating the educational content. The focus here has been to help develop the child’s cognitive and language development skills across different age groups. Gomeloft, on its part, helped transform the educational content into animations and other engaging and interactive animations to appeal to the young minds.

“As AI technology rapidly evolves, it increasingly impacts every aspect of our lives,” said Dr. Sara Ratner at the Department of Education at the University of Oxford.

“This project provided us with the opportunity to better understand how we can make the best use of such technologies aimed at enhancing children’s enjoyment of reading through shared engagement with their families.”

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I’ll likely make a film sometime in the future.
