KONAMI’s eFootball™ Independence Day Cup 2025 Wraps Up, DaNiaL Claims the Title and prize money along with other perks.

The eFootball™ Independence Day Cup 2025 has come to an end, delivering an action-packed week of competition for the Indian players. The event ran from 27th to 31st August 2025, with players battling it out in knockout matches. After days of neck-to-neck competition, DaNiaL emerged as the champion of the tournament and secured the top reward package featuring a signed jersey and a Meet & Greet Diamond Pass.

KONAMI’s eFootballTM Independence Day Cup Final Standings

The tournament brought together a wide pool of talent, but only the best could make it to the very end. The top four players were crowned after an intense finale streamed live on the eFootballTM India Discord server:

  • Champion: DaNiaL
  • Runner-up: NEVIL-SpN
  • Third place: Beerus_CMD
  • Fourth place: FGC_Abhro

Prizepool Distribution

KONAMI made sure the prizes matched the scale of the competition. As the winner, DaNiaL took home €400 in cash, a signed jersey, and the prestigious Meet & Greet Diamond Pass, which includes paid travel, accommodation, meals, and the opportunity tointeract with India’s top tier athletes, Bollywood actors and influencers like Sunil Chhetri, KL Rahul, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ahan Shetty and Focused Indian. NEVIL-SpN, the runner-up, received €300, a signed jersey, and a VIP pass for a premium event experience. Meanwhile, Beerus_CMD and FGC_Abhro were rewarded with €200 and €100, respectively, along with signed jerseys and VIP passes.

The Meet ‘n’ Greet passes are the ultimate rewards that the tournament offers apart from the prize pool. The Diamond passes are awarded to the winner which is a package of an all expenses paid trip and a direct invite to the event. The runner ups on the other hand will be given VIP passes which includes a direct invite to the event. The Meet n Greet is set to take place in Mumbai this December.

The Independence Day Cup kicked off with players registering between 7th and 27th August. All matches were played in Authentic Mode, with thousands of participants assigned to iconic clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Barcelona.

Over the course of the week, fans flocked to Discord, which served as the ultimate hub of the tournament to catch match updates and interact with the community. From the league phase to the grand finale, the tournament successfully showcased the passion and potential of Indian eFootballTM players.

While the Independence Day Cup has concluded, this is only the beginning of KONAMI’s wider esports campaign in India. Another major competition is lined up for October, promising even bigger thrills and rewards.
