Lenovo introduced a slew of new tablet devices at the CES event that are aimed at different market segments. That includes the Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus with which it plans to take the battle right to the Apple iPad. The tablet too is built par for the course, featuring top of the line specs and matching features.
To begin with, the Yoga Tab Plus will have the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset at its core which easily makes the tablet one of the most capable Android tablet device currently available. Complementing the high end chipset is 16 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM along with 512 GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage. Making up the front is a 12.7-inch 3K (2,944 x 1,840 pixels) anti-reflection PureSight Pro display having a 144Hz refresh rate. The display boasts 900 nits of peak brightness as well as 100% DCI-P3 color coverage.
Also a nice thing with the tablet is that it would be running the latest Android 15 OS right from the start. Keeping the lights on is a rather large 10,200 mAh battery that should sail you through an entire day of even intense activity easily. The tablet supports 45W fast charging via the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port it comes with, which means less time spent plugged in and more time available for mobile use. With four Harman Kardon woofers and two tweeters built-in, the Yoga Tab Plus is also going to be a great entertainment device as well.
Other features of the tablet include a 13 MP rear camera along with Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. The tablet measures 188.3 x 290.91 x 6.69 mm which makes it quite compact in dimension. At 640 grams for the tablet alone, it is quite lightweight too. Worth mentioning, the tablet comes with a stand at the rear which reminds one of the Surface line of tablet devices. It can be similarly paired with a keyboard cover and the Lenovo Tab Pen Pro though those have to be bought separately.
The Yoga Tab Plus is expected to hit the shelves in the US later this month and will start at $700.
Apart from the Yoga Tab Plus, other tablet devices that Lenovo launched so far at the CES event include the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro and the Lenovo Tab.
Among these, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is aimed primarily at the education segment. It comes with the same 12.7-inch 144Hz 3K display as on the Yoga Tab Plus. It is built around the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor and features the same 10,200 mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging support. Other features of the tablet include four Dolby Atmos-tuned JBL speakers for an enriching audible experience. The tablet is slated to go on sale starting in April and will start at $350. It is going to be available in Luna Gray and Seaform Green color options.
Lastly, there is the Lenovo Tab which is aimed at the budget segment. Featuring a 10.1-inch display, the Lenovo Tab comes powered by a MediaTek Helio G65 processor. With dual Dolby Atmos speakers, the tablet is great for entertainment. The tablet will start shipping around June and will start at $159.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I’ll likely make a film sometime in the future.
