Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has long wielded his creative genius like a double-edged sword, cutting through boundaries but occasionally nicking himself in the process. His latest entanglement? The ever-thorny web of AI controversies. Not only has Ye drawn scrutiny for dabbling in AI, but whispers abound he is getting a little too comfortable with the tech, especially as the buzz around the forthcoming ‘Bully’ reaches a fever pitch. Amidst the trying times, Malik Yusef, a steadfast ally who has played savior for Ye before, is stepping in again.

Since Ye promised a double whammy in 2025 after going back on his words about the ‘Vultures 3’ drop in 2024, every day has been a trial by fire for fans waiting for the missing record alongside ‘Bully.’ Although updates on the whereabouts of ‘Vultures 3’ are scarce, Malik Yusef has a climax covered for the hotly anticipated ‘Bully.’ Yeunrlsd on X recently shared a screenshot of a fan interaction with Yusef on Instagram, trying to gauge his opinion on Ye’s ‘Bully.’

“His best production ever,” Yusef wrote back in response, not even trying to mince his words. Another fan probed the artist for answers, leaning on the abundant backlash Ye has been receiving for his over-reliance on AI, questioning the truth of the claim. Despite the concerns and chaos, Yusef liked the comment where the curious fan urged for no AI on the album. While fans have taken Yusef’s social nod as a confirmation, all eyes are now on ‘Bully’ with every looming concern being shown the exit.

Although Malik Yusef’s updates on ‘Bully’ have served as a highlight for Ye fans during the hours of worldwide contention, it leaves them just as perplexed since the rapper recently sent out a search drive for a team of AI professionals.

Is Ye really seeking an AI team for Bully?

Ye does everything but play by the book of conventions. After 18 months of creative hiatus, changes were abundant in the Atlanta rapper, but having been a prisoner of patterns, the similarities to his old self were one too many. One visible concern that made fans’ anticipation take a backseat with his ‘Vultures’ series was the non-negotiable dependence on AI. But just as the concerns were hovering for ‘Bully’ to tread along the same lines, it turned out Ye’s search drive for an AI team was actually for Yeezy.
