Millie Bobby Brown is nearing finalization to portray Olympic gymnast Kerri Strug in director Gia Coppola’s highly anticipated feature, Perfect, and she is set to join the production team. Coppola, known for The Last Showgirl, adapts Ronnie Sandahl’s script, chronicling the historic triumph of the US women’s gymnastics team at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Strug’s daring vault on an injured ankle secured gold, creating an iconic image immortalized by coach Béla Károlyi, while Netflix plans to begin filming the inspiring story in 2026.
