It confirmed that the account, which popped up out of nowhere on January 1, is indeed Markle’s.

On New Year’s Day, the @meghan account shared a video of Markle enjoying a beach day. The clip appeared quite persona— again a departure from royal protocols, perhaps even filmed by Prince Harry himself. While there has not been an official statement from the Sussexes about the social media comeback, a source told USA Today that the account belongs to Markle and will be used to show how social media can bring joy and positive connection. But that is not how the Duchess has always felt about social media.
