This Netflix Show Just Gave Us a Perfect Pavitr Prabhakar for Live-Action Spider-Verse Movie

And no, this is not a green light for Marvel to up its murderous ante, but to cast Ishaan Khatter as Pavitr Prabhakar, the Indian Spider-Man. 

Having ticked all the right boxes upon its release, this alternate universe Spider-Man took no time to trap the audience under his web, much like Ishaan Khatter, who, with his appearance as Shooter Dival, has wrapped the audiences around his finger. Khatter, in a sea full of elite Hollywood stars, has left an irrevocable print on the audiences much like Pavitr Prabhakar who managed to meet the skyscraping highs of New York through his moral ‘Marvel’ in Mumbai’s bustling streets.

One imagines that, in donning the Spider-Man mask, Khatter might find himself unmasking a few of the West’s assumptions in the process, something he has already successfully done with his role in The Perfect Couple.
