Kamala Harris’ Authenticity Problem Takes A Hit As She’s Accused Of Using Fake Southern Accent At Atlanta Rally

Critics hammered Vice President Kamala Harris after she appeared to use a fake Southern accent to pander to a crowd of voters at a rally in Atlanta.

It’s unclear how it happened, but Harris used an obvious twang when she declared to the crowd: “You all helped us win in 2020, and we’re gonna do it again in 2024!”

The crowd at the star-studded event certainly ate it up, apparently unconcerned with clear pandering.

The Harris campaign also tried to woo black voters in Atlanta by having Megan Thee Stallion twerk for votes.

Critics quickly mocked Harris for her newfound accent, comparing the way she spoke to the crowd in Atlanta to when she talked with drag queens in Los Angeles.

Kamala Harris Develops A Southern Accent

Watching Kamala Harris use a southern accent – or what Daily Wire host Matt Walsh describes as “Sudden Onset Urban Accent”- is only going to fuel doubts about the Democrat’s authenticity.

Those doubts suddenly resurfaced last week when she posted a highly scripted video of herself pretending to genuinely talk on the phone with Michelle and Barack Obama.

It comes up time and time again. Whether she’s using a French accent to speak to officials in France, or she’s using child actors pretending to be excited about her discussions of space, or she’s plagiarizing Martin Luther King, Jr. in her “freedom” story.

Does anyone remember the pandering she dished out when claiming she and “multiple generations” of her family had celebrated Kwanzaa religiously?

Kwanzaa was created in 1966. Harris was born in 1964. Yet somehow generations of the Harris family, her father from Jamaica, mother from India, celebrated.

Is there anything about her that’s real?

Democrats Pander, It’s What They Do

Kamala Harris certainly isn’t the first Democrat running for President to completely pander to a certain group in order to grab their vote.

Hillary Clinton is the queen of the fake southern accent, what with her famous “I ain’t no ways tired” speech to a predominantly black crowd in Selma in 2007.

President Biden used the “no ways tired” phrasing in an ad directed at black voters in 2020. He also developed a slight Indian accent whilst impersonating call centers back in 2012.

Harris desperately needs to do something to attract black voters, a demographic with which she is struggling to improve numbers over Biden.
