These Fuzzy Crocs Slippers Are Perfect for Fall Trips

Whenever I travel, I tend to lean towards warmer destinations. In the past year alone, I’ve been everywhere from Turks & Caicos to Ecuador and Mallorca. So, when I booked an Alaska cruise this past September with my mom, my packing anxiety immediately set in. Prepping for a cold destination is hard for me: Not only do items like puffer coats and fleece jackets take up more space in your luggage, but it can also be challenging to find cold-weather items that will keep you toasty while still looking put-together. 

In the months leading up to the trip, my mom and I sent each other countless photos of items we were considering buying for our cruise. When I sent my mom a photo of the Crocs Unfurgettable Clogs, she quickly responded, ‘I want a pair, too.” We decided that matching fuzzy Crocs slippers were an appropriate footwear choice for this mother-daughter trip.

These Unfurgettable Clogs are a hybrid of Crocs’ Classic Clogs and Cozzzy Slippers. They’re covered in soft, plush faux fur but are finished with the brand’s Croslite rubber outsole. Put simply, they’re basically a house slipper that you can also wear outside. I received my pair during the summer in New York City, and couldn’t resist instantly putting them on to wear around my air-conditioned apartment. While it was still 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside, these cozy shoes made me excited for chilly fall days ahead.

When the time came to pack for our cruise to Alaska last month, these clogs were the first item my mom and I packed in our suitcases. As a frequent cruiser, I always bring a comfy pair of shoes for walking around the ship, and my Unfurgettable Clogs perfectly fit my criteria for the job. Not only are they lightweight, which makes them easy to pack, but they’re also easy to slide your feet into at a moment’s notice.

Unsurprisingly, my mom and I found ourselves gravitating towards our fuzzy Crocs slippers immediately after setting sail on our cruise aboard the Regent Seven Seas Explorer. What I love most about these slides is that the fur isn’t just on the inside, but the exterior, too, so they look as cozy as they feel. With a cushioned interior and a rubber sole, they’re the perfect combination of comfortable and supportive. Plus, the open back makes them breathable, so your foot stays warm without getting too hot. I usually wear mine with socks, but my mom runs warm, and suggests wearing them barefoot to prevent overheating. 

Throughout the week, our ship stopped in ports like Juneau, where we hiked to see a glacier, and Ketchikan, where we drove ATVs in the rain. We opted for more sensible footwear like hiking shoes while on land, but whenever we returned to our ship, we both instantly reached for our Unfurgettable Clogs. During sea days, I wore these fuzzy slippers during the ship’s on-board activities, such as bracelet making, as well as while enjoying chilly sunsets on our suite’s balcony. My mom and I even sported them to the ship’s live evening shows. By the end of the week, we had both worn them more than any other shoe we packed. 

The Crocs Classic Unfurgettable Clogs come in multiple different color options; I opted for the Quartz, a light pink shade, and my mom chose Mushroom, a more neutral gray-green shade (see below). These fuzzy Crocs slippers come in whole sizes only, and my mom and I found them to run pretty true to size, but lean on the wider side. 

They have an adjustable backstrap that can be worn in the back or front of the shoe, depending on your preference. You can also add croc jibbitz to the strap, which my mom did to dress up her shoes. They also come in a vegan suede option, for those who prefer slippers with a little less fur on the exterior.

Now that I’m back home in New York City for fall, my Unfurgettable Clogs have become one of my most-reached-for shoes in my wardrobe—and trust me, I have a lot of shoes.
