Channing Tatum is not ready for his daughter, Everly, to watch his Magic Mike dance moves in the future.
The Hollywood actor, 44 – who recently called his fiancée Zoe Kravitz a ‘nerd for movies’ – discussed the topic during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Wednesday while promoting his latest film, Blink Twice.
At one point, he reflected on taking the 11-year-old – whom he shares with ex Jenna Dewan – to see Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour stop in Los Angeles.
Tatum notably also saw the Grammy winner live in concert earlier this month with Kravtiz at Wembley stadium.
However, Channing explained to Meyers, ‘Seeing it with your daughter is very different, because you know, you got to go in. I was dancing like I’ve never danced before.’

‘That’s a lot coming from you,’ Seth joked, referencing to the actor starring in the Magic Mike franchise.
Channing replied that he didn’t dance like his usual self, and avoided doing any body rolls while grooving to Swift’s hit tracks with his daughter. ‘There was zero of that.’
He then added, ‘I’m so grateful that she doesn’t know how I dance,’ which prompted the host to question when Everly will possibly see the films.
In the movies, Tatum notably portrays the role of a male stripper – and is loosely based on the actor’s own life.
‘It’s gonna happen, but it’s not gonna happen because you show it,’ Meyers told the star.
‘It’s going to be horrifying when it does,’ Channing admitted, but said of the dance moves he shows around his daughter: ‘It’s a lot of like, this stuff and I’m just gonna keep it in that area.’
He then tossed his arms innocently from side-to-side to give an example of his laidback moves.
‘It’s gonna be like a reverse of she’s going to be the parent the first time she sees Magic Mike,’ Seth humorously predicted.

‘You’re going to come home and she’s like going to flip on a lamp and be like, “We need to talk,”‘ the host jokingly added.
Earlier this month, Channing attended his second Taylor Swift concert for her Eras Tour in London and was gifted guitar picks from the singer’s father, Scott.
The actor jumped to Instagram to share a selfie that he had taken with Scott and revealed that he plans to sell the picks ‘for charity.’
Elsewhere in the interview, Tatum also recalled a recent trip to Salem, Massachusetts with his daughter – who has interest in witches and the paranormal.
‘She’s been wanting to go to Salem maybe for the last seven years of her life. And we get there, and I’m like “Maybe this will be one of those moments where she’s like, Oh, it’s not what I thought.” You know?’
‘It’s like the idea of going to Egypt, and thinking that there’s just mummies walking around all the time. And I was like, “Maybe she will just be, like, kind of less mesmerized.”‘
However, the star explained that Everly, ‘was so leaning in.’
The father daughter duo opted to stay at a haunted hotel in Salem called the Hawthorne Hotel. ‘They were like, “Don’t go to the third floor or the sixth floor.” I was like, “Not gonna do that, like, at all.”

But his 11-year-old wanted to explore the areas. ‘My daughter was just like, “Let’s just go up there a little bit. Like, let’s just go up and walk up the stairs and, like, look for a second and then run back down.”‘
Channing then humorously admitted, ‘No, I’m not about it. I’m like “You go up there.”‘
While the pair have differing views on the paranormal, the actor said, ‘She loved it so much. The whole town, they really lean into the history of it [Salem Witch Trials].’
Tatum has been keeping busy by promoting his upcoming film, Blink Twice, which was directed by his fiancée, Zoe Kravitz.
The premise is: ‘When tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida at his fundraising gala, he invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island.’
‘As strange things start to happen, Frida (Naomi Ackie) questions her reality,’ per IMDB.

On Wednesday, both he and Kravitz attended the screening of the thriller in New York City, with other celebrities in attendance, such as Austin Butler, Emily Ratajkowski, Questlove and Shaboozey.
And just days earlier, the couple also made a glamorous appearance at the London premiere of the movie – which is set to release on Friday, August 23.
Channing was dapper in a classic, black suit which was paired with a white dress shirt and black tie.
Zoe was radiant in a sleeveless, red dress that clung to her frame and added a thin belt to better accentuate her waist.
