Donald Trump brought the house down when he appeared at the highly-anticipated University of Alabama vs. University of Georgia college football game Saturday, despite major security measures.
The former president evoked an eruption of applause from the Southeastern Conference (SEC) fans – typically a more conservative bunch – when he arrived before heading to an apparently ‘bulletproof’ glass-laden luxury box.Â
In the luxury glass-laden suite the former president was joined by Herschel Walker, Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr. and more. Â
Protective barriers are a new staple at his public events following the multiple near-assassinations on the former president’s life recently. He also had a massive Secret Service detail to escort him and look over the rowdy fans.
The Alabama Crimson Tide’s critical showdown with the Georgia Bulldogs is one of the most-anticipated college games of the season, and regardless of the security implications, Trump didn’t want to miss it.Â

Videos of him arriving in the arena show Trump throwing food to adoring fans who chant ‘Four more years!’Â
Then the fans transition into ‘USA, USA, USA’ chants while the former president poses for pictures and distributes handshakes.
The arena was a cauldron of football and MAGA passion when Trump made his appearance at the Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, which boasts a capacity north of 100,000 fans.Â
Waving and donning his typical blue suit with red tie combo – red being a strategic color represented on the uniforms of both teams – the former president then shuffled through his fenced off walkway towards his ballistic glass box.Â
Trump was invited to the game by Alabama businessman Ric Mayers and was joined in the suite by Alabama senators Katie Britt and Tommy Tuberville, ALGOP chairman John Wahl and friends and family of Mayers.Â

Tuberville famously used to coach football in Alabama for Auburn University, where he set a school record beating University of Alabama six consecutive times. Â
The Republicans sat with a view down through the field goal uprights and the box did not have an exterior seating section.Â
And the roars crying out from the audience in support of the former president are in line with his recent polling.Â
Earlier this week, DailyMail.com revealed in a new poll that Trump had opened up a 10-point lead on Vice President Kamala Harris.
The model crunches all the latest poll data, as well as decades worth of election results, plus economic indicators to calculate who has the best chance of winning the electoral college in November.

It gives the former president a 55.2 percent chance of victory. Harris is at 44.6 percent, with a very small chance of a tie.Â
It still shows Harris with the best chance of claiming victory in the popular vote (it gives her 50.8 percent support now and a 65 percent chance of finishing with more votes in November).
Harris, meanwhile, had a plan to foil Trump’s fun at the game Saturday. Â
Harris campaign officials planned a small plane flyover to take place over the stadium with a banner that reads: ‘Trump’s Punting on 2nd Debate.’
Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., was also in attendanceÂ
The stunt is not the only way they are trying to bait the former president either.Â
The Harris campaign also aired a national TV ad during the game on ESPN.Â
Harris’s running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was similarly at a college football game on Saturday.Â
