Her epic storyline included an affair with Mike Baldwin (played by Johnny Briggs) before the star officially left the soap in 2001.

The British star is now living in Victoria, Canada, according to her X account and goes by the name of Jacqueline Chadwick, hence her social handle @jackiechaddy.

After a successful acting career, it seems Jacqueline has left many things behind and has been dedicating her time to writing equally successful crime novels.Ā Ā Ā

She is the author of the Ali Dalglish series published byĀ Fahrenheit Press, which includes In The Still as well as Briefly Maiden and Silent Sisters – and she often keeps her followers updated with her writing process.

Her novels follow the story of herĀ ex-pat character Ali Dalglish, who is an ex-forensic psychologist turned housewife and eventually finds herself embroiled in a twisted series of murder cases.

Jacqueline’s character was referenced again last year on Emmerdale when fansĀ narrowed down the list of suspects as to who Nicky Milligan’s mother is.

After it was revealed that Nicky (Lewis Cope) is actually the son of Caleb (Will Ash), viewers speculated on the identity of his mother.

Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) and Tina (Jacqueline) have emerged as top of the suspect list while others have speculated Kerry Wyatt or Faith Dingle may be his mother.

Nicky had previously lied about his past, claiming his mother died when he was a teenager and he helped raise his younger siblings.

However, after it emerged that Caleb is really his father, and the late Frank Tate is grandfather, his true family history is now up in the air.

Nicky confirmed his mother wasn’t really dead when he threatened to tell his mother about Caleb sleeping with Leyla Harding.Ā
