Lauryn Goodman fought back tears as she discussed her son Kairo’s heartbreaking school project.
The mother of two, 33, who shares son Kairo, four, and daughter Kinara, 13 months, with Kyle Walker, 34, became embroiled in a paternity scandal and courtroom showdown with the footballer, 34, earlier this year.
The Manchester City player – who also shares four children with his wife Annie Kilner – has ‘abandoned’ the children he shares with Lauryn, with the TV personality candidly discussing how it affects her son.
In a new episode of her tell-all podcast, Yours Sincerely, Lauryn struggled to fight back tears as he spoke about Kairo’s family project at school.
Speaking to her friend and co-host Lisa Andrews, she explained: ‘I don’t want Kairo to sit there in class while everyone is getting their book out with their family and their dad and for him to feel some type of way when those children are obviously talking about their family.’

She went on to explain how after a conversation with his teacher she chose not to include Kyle in Kairo’s family book, but did include a day at the zoo, which Kairo enjoyed with Kyle’s parents.
‘I just don’t want to give him any abandonment issues,’ she admitted.
‘I don’t encourage the conversation but I also don’t want to make him feel a certain way.
‘It’s a really fine line of like, distraction but then not too much, because I don’t want him to feel like I’m not listening to what he is saying.
‘His book has got everything in, the Euros, his grandparents, everyone really.’
When she gave birth to Kairo in 2020, Lauryn came out to reveal that Kyle was the father, before later welcoming another child together last year.
While Lauryn was initially coy about her daughter’s paternity, she later confirmed that he had also fathered Kinara, which led to his split with wife Annie.
Annie, who was pregnant with their forth child at the time, kicked Kyle out of their marital home and he moved into an apartment nearby.

Earlier this year, Lauryn and Kyle were involved in a highly-publicised legal battle over the custody arrangement concerning their children.
The case involved a number of issues, including child maintenance, harassment, and transparency in family court.
The judge ordered Kyle to pay £12,500 per month in child maintenance, as well as nursery, school, and childcare costs.
Lauryn has been incredibly open about her relationship with the Man City star in recent weeks after her appearance on Celebs Go Dating.
Last week the mother-of-two also shared the full text message she sent to Annie last December as she revealed Kyle was the father of her daughter.
Kyle is now living back in the marital home with wife Annie and their four children and they are working on their relationship. By agreement with Annie, he only has contact with Lauryn through solicitors

Lauryn shared the extremely blunt message sent on December 27 last year with her 246,000 followers on Instagram.
It read: ‘Hey it’s Lauryn. I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter. He’s been having a relationship with us all including the baby & I’ve got everything to prove it. He’s been apart of our lives seeing the children [sic].’
Meanwhile Lauryn took a cryptic swipe at Kyle on Sunday as she admitted that her ‘light has been dimmed’.
The star admitted she is ‘struggling’ being back on the dating scene and is finding appearing on Celebs Go Dating quite ’emotional’ as she attempts to find love again.
