Taylor Swift fans’ latest theories about her Wembley shows proved to be less true than they’d hoped, as Post Malone failed to make an appearance during the third show on Saturday.
Swifties had been left convinced that Malone would take to the stage with the hitmaker in the capital, after noticing a key detail on the poster for the shows.
The billionaire songstress is in the middle of the second leg of her Eras Tour with five shows at the London stadium, following her string of sell out dates there in June.
However, as Taylor took to the stage to perform Fortnight, from her newest album The Tortured Poets Department, Malone was noticeably absent.
Eagle-eyed fans had been led to believe the rapper would join her on stage after noticing symbols next to each concert date on promotion for the show.

Eagle-eyed fans had been led to believe the rapper would join her on stage after noticing symbols next to each concert date on a poster for the show
The poster featured a typewriter – a symbol which appeared heavily in their music video together – next to Friday’s gig.
Fans were left even more convinced of their theory after Taylor shared a snap of her and Malone, real name Austin Richard Post, to her Instagram Stories shortly before showtime.
In a gushing tribute she wrote: ‘Was lucky enough to hear this amazing music on set of the ‘Fortnight’ video when Austin played it for me.
‘It’s incredible how versatile his artistry is. And just the most down to earth guy alive’.
On the poster, her first concert date included a heart, which fans believed was hinting the surprise appearance of her beloved pal Ed Sheeran, 33, who sent the crowd wild when he walked out on stage.
Thursday’s the featured star, which Swifties have concluded was in reference to the debut of her new Midnight bodysuit.
Looking ahead they concluded Monday, which had a top hat symbol, would see Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelcee, 34, return to the Wembley.
Last month the American Footballer, dressed in a top hat and tails, took to the arena stage during one segment as he helped his girlfriend with a costume change.

After one fan posted the theory on X, other raced to the comments convinced they’d cracked the code
Then the final gig includes a camera, which was interpreted as the announcement of a behind the scenes documentary of the tour.
After one fan posted the theory on X, other raced to the comments convinced they’d cracked the code, writing: ‘Also the fact that when Travis was on stage [Taylor] said it was his “debut” which leaves me thinking it was definitely NOT his last time on stage’: ‘ Okay you’re onto something’: THESE ARE WHAT I WAS THINKING EARLIER TOO!!!!’: ‘Definitely Post Malone! Taylor’s private jet flew yesterday from Nashville to London…and Post was in Nashville all week!’
However others were quick to pour cold water on the idea, pointing out it was likely in reference to her support acts and the fact that Post was busy promoting his new album in Nashville while Travis was training with his team the Kansas Chiefs.
Ed was greeted by screams and huge cheers from the 92,000-strong crowd when he made his surprise appearance on stage on Thursday.
During her song set, which Taylor changes each gig, the singer-songwriters’ performed their song Everything has Changed from the 2012 album Red, followed by End Game from Reputation.
The duo then sang an emotional acoustic rendition of Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud while bright green lights shone out from the stadium.
Before he left the stage, Taylor showered him with compliments and while hugging him described him as a ‘second brother’.
She said: ‘Now he is someone that plays Wembley like every week. This is regular for him and he works so hard. He’s probably so tired but he wanted to come play for you and do this for all of you.’
The appearance comes as the singer returned to London for the first time since the tragic Southport knife attacks and a foiled terror plot led to three of her shows in Vienna being axed.
Those closest to Taylor said Thursday’s performance would be the ‘hardest concert of her career’ after both incidents left her ‘shaken to the core’ and as a result many speculated she would be joined by good friend Ed.

The American superstar made an emotional return in front of a 92,000 strong-crowd telling them ‘we love you so much London’.
She did not immediately address the horrifying stabbing that took place at a Swift-themed dance class on July 29, that killed Bebe King, six, Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven.
In the aftermath of the tragedy, Swift said she was at ‘a complete loss’ over the devastating attack.
‘The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously, and I’m just completely in shock,’ the 34-year-old singer said following the incident.
‘The loss of life and innocence and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families, the first response. These were just little kids at a dance class. I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families.’
Just days later, Swift was then forced to cancel three gigs in Vienna after police uncovered a foiled ISIS terror plot. Swift has not commented publicly on the attempted attack but insiders said she was left ‘horrified’.
