David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown are bringing one of Netflix’s most beloved father-daughter relationships back to the screen. The pair will reunite in the streamer’s new series directed by Jack Thorne. Their cherished dynamic first won over audiences in Stranger Things, where Jim Hopper and Eleven grew from guarded strangers into an unforgettable found family. Off screen, Harbour became a protective mentor as Brown grew up on set, making their bond feel just as genuine.
With Harbour and Brown reuniting after months of drifting-apart rumors, the pair is once again stepping into a father-daughter relationship, exactly where audiences love them most.

David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown are not simply sharing the screen again. This time, the beloved duo is trading Hawkins for high-stakes espionage. According to Netflix Tudum, the pair will headline a straight-to-series thriller that swaps supernatural monsters for classified FBI missions, proving their family chemistry can thrive in any genre.
Harbour plays Matt Wolfe, a disgraced former FBI agent turned security specialist whose quiet life shatters when his estranged daughter Rebecca mysteriously disappears. Brown stars as Rebecca, an accomplished FBI agent who vanishes during a top-secret mission. The desperate search forces father and daughter back into each other’s complicated lives, where fractured trust becomes just as dangerous as the mission itself.
Netflix Tudum also revealed that the series is penned and executive produced by Jack Thorne, whose collaborations with Brown on the Enola Holmes films have already become fan favorites. A24 is producing alongside Netflix, while Jake Bongiovi, Robert Brown, Joe Hipps, Patrick McDonald, and KC Wenson join the project as executive producers.
Thorne arrives with remarkable momentum behind him. The writer recently delivered Adolescence, the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning phenomenon that climbed to become Netflix’s second most-watched English-language series with 142.6 million views. He is also adapting William Golding’s Lord of the Flies, making this reunion another heavyweight addition to his growing Netflix résumé.
As Brown reunites with husband Jake Bongiovi behind the scenes, with whom she loves working with, David Harbour is revving up to showcase yet another father role, but this time in Avengers: Doomsday.
