While Reynolds has been honing his wit in anticipation of his return as the Merc with a Mouth, Lively has been flaunting her comedic flair during the press tour for It Ends With Us. However, at the latest promotional event, Lively was notably amiss.

In an unexpected turn, Lively took to social media to question the whereabouts of her invitation to the event for the movie she stars in.

Held in celebration of the film’s August release and organized in partnership with Sony Pictures, the event showcases these women posing with their flower arrangements in front of a display named Lily Bloom’s. Additional photos offer a glimpse of the exquisite charcuterie prepared for the occasion.

While Lively sorts out her missing invitation, Sony Pictures has handled the rest, recently releasing a second trailer to give fans another look at her return to the rom-com genre.

The latest scenes also showcase some steamy moments with the Gossip Girl alum, before shifting to a fast-paced depiction of the tumultuous love triangle. So, whether or not Lively secures an invitation to the next promotional event, Sony Pictures has ensured fans have their invitations in hand for a major rom-com comeback with none other than the genre’s reigning queen.
