Haunting final message of ‘crossbow killer’s tragic ex-girlfriend’: How John Hunt’s daughter shared tweet praising ‘women who leave’ for their ‘strength’ days before she was executed following ‘messy breakup’

The ex-girlfriend of triple crossbow suspect Kyle Clifford reposted a tweet praising ‘women who leave’ for their ‘strength’ just days before she was fatally attacked in her home alongside her mother and sister.

Louise Hunt, 25, the daughter of BBC star John Hunt, was allegedly tied up and killed with a crossbow alongside her mother Carol, 61, and sister Hannah, 28, at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on Tuesday evening.

Suspect Kyle Clifford, 26, who allegedly split from Louise last week, was found hiding and injured in a cemetery in Enfield on Wednesday afternoon after seemingly shooting himself with the crossbow.

Louise had apparently been so distressed by their ‘messy’ breakup that she crashed her car into a wooden telegraph pole just days ago, leaving the vehicle door caved in.

The young dog groomer reposted her final tweet on social media platform X on July 3, which read: ‘I admire women who leave, idgaf if you left after the 1st time or the 12th time I admire s***!

‘Idgaf if ppl calling you dumb for 11 years but in the 12th year you decided you was done. It takes A LOT of strength to break a tie. It takes ALOT of self love to choose yo self.’

Neighbour Glyn Nicholas, 77, said Louise had been left upset at breaking up with her boyfriend and crashed her car last week as a result.

He said: ‘Louise was a very nice girl. She ran a dog grooming business from the house.

‘I heard that she split from a boyfriend last week and was very upset about it. So much so that she was driving home at some point last week and drove into a wooden telegraph pole not far from the house.

‘Another dog groomer – who is a friend of Louise’s – told me that her car door had caved in because of the crash.’

The neighbour added: ‘I don’t know if it was her boyfriend, but put it this way, some of my dog walkers said that she’d had a traumatic boyfriend bust up the week before last.’

Carol told friends at her local gym that her youngest daughter was involved in a ‘messy break up’ with her boyfriend.

The mother worked out at the Bushey Grove Leisure Centre on Tuesday afternoon.

She spoke with friends at the gym about her daughter Louise’s relationship with Kyle turning nasty.

A friend said: ‘She said her daughter’s split with her boyfriend was messy.

‘Carol did not go into too much detail, but you could see she was concerned.’
