Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow has made her TikTok debut sharing a hilarious first video with a montage of clips including her relaxing under her bed sheets

Gwyneth Paltrow has officially joined TikTok adding to her huge social media presence. The Oscar-winning actress, 53, introduced herself to the platform with a playful montage showing her filming in a string of glamorous locations.
The video featured the Hollywood star topless in two scenes as she playfully established her new account. In one clip, Gwyneth lounged in a bed dressed with crisp white sheets, appearing to wear nothing except a pair of gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses and matching gold earrings.
Another clip showed her relaxing in a bathtub with her hair pushed back while sporting black-framed aviator shades. Throughout the video, Gwyneth repeated different versions of the same line as she hilariously said: “One second, I’m just doing a TikTok.”
The actress delivered the phrase in multiple languages while appearing in a variety of luxury settings, including on a helicopter, aboard a boat, in a garden and on a private jet. She also teased her TikTok debut on Instagram by sharing the clip to her Story alongside the caption: “Apparently I’m on TikTok now.”
Away from social media, Gwyneth continues to run her hugely successful wellness and lifestyle brand, Goop. She also returned to acting last year with a role in the table tennis drama Marty Supreme.
The film sparked plenty of attention in 2024 after behind-the-scenes photos of Gwyneth kissing co-star Timothée Chalamet went viral online. Speaking about the project during an appearance on Good Morning America ahead of its Christmas Day 2025 release, Gwyneth explained her role in the Josh Safdie-directed film.
Gwyneth said: “I play a retired movie star in the film, who Timothee is sort of… tries to… I think he tries to get her sheen to rub off on him in more ways than one.” She also admitted the viral kissing pictures caused a stir among her friends.
Gwyneth said: “You should have seen my mommy group chats when the paparazzi pictures came out of us kissing in the park. All the moms were pretty stoked.”
Her TikTok launch comes just weeks after she faced criticism for appearing in an advert promoting a luxury housing development in Israel – due to the ongoing war in Gaza.
The campaign showed Gwyneth waking up in a high-rise apartment before praising the benefits of living close to green space. Gwyneth said: “There’s a reason the world’s most iconic buildings are by a park,” before asking her driver to take her to “51 Park” – a luxury residential development in Herzliya.
Gwyneth shares daughter Apple, 22, and son Moses, 20, with her ex-husband Chris Martin. She has been married to television producer Brad Falchuk since 2018.
