A private jet owned by Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil veered off the runway at a Scottsdale Airport in Arizona and crashed into another plane – leaving the pilot dead and the rocker’s girlfriend hospitalized.
The 64-year-old vocalist’s partner Rain Andreani, 43, and her friend Ashley both survived the crash and were rushed to a nearby hospital in the wake of the aviation tragedy, a source close to the situation told TMZÂ Monday.Â
Andreani had suffered five broken ribs and multiple pet dogs the women brought aboard the aircraft were safe, sources told the outlet.
The band confirmed in a statement on X/Twitter Monday that the pilot was killed in the crash, and that they will be involved in the efforts to help the family.
‘Earlier today, a private plane owned by Vince Neil was involved in a crash near Scottsdale, AZ,’ the group behind hits such as Home Sweet Home, Wild Side and Without You said on the social media platform. ‘The pilot was tragically killed; the co-pilot and other passengers were taken to local hospitals.
The group continued, ‘Vince was not on the plane. Vince‘s girlfriend and her friend suffered injuries, albeit not life-threatening. While details are still emerging, our hearts go out to the families about the pilot who lost his life in the passengers who suffered injuries.’

The Dr. Feelgood singer was not a passenger on the plane at the time of the deadly incident, a spokesperson for Neil previously told Dailymail.com Monday evening.Â

Worrick Robinson Law, the law firm representing the heavy metal singer, confirmed tragic details in the incident in a statement Monday evening.
 ‘At 2:39 p.m. local time, a Learjet aircraft Model 35A owned by Vince Neil was attempting to land at the Scottsdale Airport,’ the firm said. ‘For reasons unknown at this time, the plane veered from the runway causing it to collide with another parked plane.
‘On board Mr. Neil’s plane were two pilots and two passengers. Mr. Neil was not on the plane. More specific details regarding the collision are not available as this is a rapidly evolving situation and there is an ongoing investigation.
The firm said that ‘Mr. Neil’s thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved, and he is grateful for the critical aid of all first responders assisting today.’Â

‘A Learjet aircraft on its arrival from Austin veered off the runway and collided with another jet, a Gulfstream 200 aircraft, that was parked. It appears that the left main gear failed upon landing, resulting in the accident,’ airport public information officer Kelli Kuester said.
The Learjet is registered to Chromed in Hollywood, which is registered in Wyoming with a principal agent listed as Vince Neil of Motley Crew with a Franklin, Tennessee mailing address, according to WTVF.
The Scottsdale Fire Department said at least one person died on the scene and three people were hurt when the aircrafts collided Monday around 2:45 p.m. MT.Â
‘We had five patients we treated. One was a fatality, we had two immediate that were transported to local trauma centers, we had one delayed patient and one patient that refused treatment,’Â Scottsdale Fire Department Captain Dave Folio said.
Folio said that crews are still working to remove the body of the victim that was killed from the aircraft.Â
Footage obtained by AZ Family  showed the moment the aircraft skirted along the runway and hit the other jet.
The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed private two jets collided and they have temporarily paused flights into the airport. Â
‘A Learjet 35A veered off the runway after landing and crashed into a Gulfstream 200 business jet on the ramp at Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona,’ the FAA said. ‘We do not know how many people were on board. The FAA is temporarily pausing flights into the airport. The FAA will investigate.’

A new Learjet 35A can cost around $4.8million and a Gulfstream G200 business jet can range from $2.85million to $7.195million according to Paramount Business Jets.
Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky said, ‘Today, Scottsdale sadly experienced an aircraft accident at our airport. Based on the information provided thus far, it appears at least one person is dead after two jets collided on the runway at Scottsdale Airport.
‘We are closely monitoring the situation, and we are in touch with airport, police and federal agencies and will update the community as we have further information.Â
‘On behalf of the city of Scottsdale, we offer our deepest condolences to those involved in the accident and for those who have been taken to our trauma center for treatment. We will keep all affected by this tragedy in our prayers.’

The crash comes after a Bering Air flight carrying 10 people vanished while flying over Alaska on Thursday.Â
The tiny Bering Air Caravan took off from Unalakleet, a small community in western Alaska, and was on a short 55-minute commuter flight when it suddenly disappeared off flight radars over the Norton Sound inlet at 3:16pm local time.Â
The aircraft was discovered crash-landed 34 miles southeast of its intended destination of Nome on Friday.
All 10 victims onboard the small plane that plummeted into ice of Alaska’s Bering Sea have been identified and their remains have been recovered.
The pilot was identified as Chad Antill, 34. The remaining victims included Liane Ryan, 52; Donnell Erickson, 58; Andrew Gonzalez, 30; Kameron Hartvigson, 41; Rhone Baumgartner, 46; and Jadee Moncur, 52.
Ian Hofmann, 45; Talaluk Katchatag, 34; and Carol Mooers, 48 were also on the fatal flight.
