Niall Horan supports pal Louis Tomlinson after Zayn Malik punch


The fallout between Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik continues to rumble on and it appears their former band mate Niall Horan has now picked his side

Niall Horan has shown he is firmly team Louis following a bust-up between former One Direction band mates. Louis Tomlinson was reportedly punched by Zayn Malik as the pair filmed for a now cancelled TV series.

The documentary was meant to be about Zayn and Louis bonding over their memories of their huge rise to fame following X Factor success. But it soon spiralled out of control leaving Louis with cuts and concussion.

And now it appears as though Niall is putting his support firmly in Louis’ camp following the alleged incident. In a sign of support, Niall took in Louis’ latest concert in Paris.

Louis also said to have told the crowd that Niall’s appearance at the show was hugely appreciated. The footage was captured by concert goers who shared the moment online.

A video on TikTok showed Louis saying: “I also wanna say I’ve got a mate in the house today, somewhere around there. So, yeah, shout-out to you Niall. Appreciate you coming today man, that means a lot. Thank you very much.”

Louis was reportedly stunned by the moment when former bandmate Zayn struck him. A source told The Sun that Louis was in shock over a comment made by Zayn, who then attacked him when he tried to move.

The insider told the publication: “Zayn punched him straight in the face.” They added: “He was pulled away, and Louis was taken for medical treatment. This happened outside in front of so many people. It was shocking.”

Neither Louis nor Zayn has addressed the allegations. However, fans hoping for a 1D reunion are sure to be disappointed by the fallout. It even saw Louis, 34, has unfollowed Zayn on social media.

Zayn recently addressed his previous actions in a new interview. In it, he said he’s turned his back on his “brash arrogance”. Instead, his says he now handles things differently, having learnt to love himself.

“It allows you to love everybody,” he said. Speaking on The Zach Sang Show, the Bradford-born musician went on to say: “And not even just in a romantic relationship sense, just like friends, people that you speak to have a conversation with. They can express their ideas to you, and you’re a lot more receptive of what they’re saying.

Zayn recently revealed he has been in hospital and was forced to postpone a number of upcoming shows. He shared his mystery health battle on social media.

In the snap, which showed him strapped up to machine. He also thanked cardiologists for taking care of him.

He was scheduled to promote his fifth studio album, Konnakol, with a string of in-store events, including an album playback and question-and-answer session at Banquet Records in Kingston, which has now been postponed to a later date.
