The group stage of the Vijay Hazare Trophy has concluded with a bang, as several players made a name for themselves and looked formidable during the tournament. A total of ten teams have advanced to this stage, with six earning direct entry to the quarter-finals. The teams ranked seventh to tenth will compete in the pre-quarterfinals, where a loss means elimination. The winners of these matches will move on to join the top six in the quarter-finals.
For now, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Karnataka, Baroda, and Punjab have secured their spots in the quarters. On 9th January, the knockout stage of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 will commence. Haryana will face Bengal in Pre-Quarterfinal 1 at the Moti Bagh Stadium, Baroda, while Tamil Nadu is set to take on Rajasthan in Pre-Quarterfinal 2.
