India qualify for Champions Trophy semis!

India have officially qualified for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semi-finals, marking their fifth appearance in the tournament’s last four. New Zealand’s win over Bangladesh sealed the deal, knocking Pakistan out of the competition. India will play their semi-final in Dubai on March 4, regardless of their final group standing. They’re likely to face either Australia or South Africa in the semi-finals. India beat Bangladesh to kickstart their campaign before hammering Pakistan on Sunday.

What a crushing blow for Pakistan! Despite all the hype to lift the trophy, Pakistan have been knocked out of the ICC Champions Trophy in just six days. The Pakistan Cricket Board had worked tirelessly to host the tournament, and the team’s early exit is a massive disappointment. Losing to New Zealand and India was a tough pill to swallow, and when New Zealand beat Bangladesh, Pakistan’s hopes of a semifinal spot were dashed. Now, India and New Zealand move on to the semifinals, undefeated and ready for the next challenge. CSK’s Rachin Ravindra hammered a century in the Bangladesh clash! Had Ravindra not been there, thing’s would’ve been rosy for Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Terror attack at Champions Trophy?

A disturbing terror plot has surfaced, threatening the safety of foreigners attending the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan. The Islamic State Khorasan Province allegedly plans to kidnap and ransom Chinese and Arab nationals, scaring serious security concerns. Pakistani authorities have responded by deploying elite snipers and tightening security measures. As many as 11 of the total 15 Champions Trophy matches are scheduled in Pakistan!
